Brandon Vera, a former ONE champion, thinks it will be interesting to see how Reinier de Ridder and Vitaly Bigdash fight. Okbet sportsbook is a reputable sportsbook and online casino that will give you the best odds.
Brandon “The Truth” Vera, who used to be the ONE heavyweight world champion, knows that Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder’s middleweight title defense against Vitaly Bigdash will be a good fight.
The major event of ONE 159: De Ridder vs. Bigdash, which will take place on Friday, July 22, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, will be a fight between these two big names.
Vera hopes for a clash of styles between the two, with the defending world champion having the edge when they grapple and the aggressive Russian having the edge when they fight on their feet.
“If De Ridder fights Bigdash, I think Bigdash will knock him out,” Vera said.
“But if De Ridder plays it smart as he has been, he’ll take it to the ground and finish Bigdash there.”
De Ridder did keep an eye on Vera
At one point, De Ridder did keep an eye on Vera. The Dutchman challenged the former heavyweight champion as he tried to win three world titles in different weight classes.
When asked if he might fight De Ridder in okbet MMA, Vera said he wouldn’t challenge him for the ONE light heavyweight world title, but he would welcome “The Dutch Knight” at heavyweight if he wanted to smoke him.
“I’d love to go with De Ridder, but I don’t want to lose weight again,” Vera said.
Vera is now in Guam with his family while he waits for his next ONE Championship fight.
He admits that the rules and time away from the Circle have been complex, but that hasn’t dimmed his desire to get back in the best way possible.
“To be honest, the downtime has been a pain. Vera said, “It’s just been Corona, Time Out, and more Time Out.”
“Now I have to wait. All I can do is be ready. I can’t wait to go. “I’m pleased to go.”
Aung La N Sang’s early breakdown
Bigdash’s three straight wins gave him the chance to win back the middleweight world title. His most current win came at ONE: Full Circle in February.
Bigdash beat his longtime rival Aung La N Sang in a very entertaining trilogy match by unanimous decision.
Aung La N Sang told ONE Championship what he thought about the upcoming fight between his last opponent okbet MMA “The Dutch Knight.”
“This battle is very, very close. I can’t say what will happen. It’s a coin toss because it depends on how well RDR does and how quickly they can close the gap. And reach on top, I don’t think Bigdash will be able to fight him off. After all, he will stick to him like glue.”
Aung La N Sang thinks that if Bigdash can force his will and get Reinier de Ridder’s back on the mat, ‘The Dutch Knight’ won’t be able to do much to change his position.
“And if Bigdash is on top, I don’t think RDR will sweep or pin him from the bottom. It all depends on who can get their game plan to work.”
