With the help of Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole, Curry boosted the Warriors 137-114, thus improving their standing of 11-10. Thompson scored 21 pts out of 13 attempts, while Poole had a 24-point performance in 17 shots.

Meanwhile, Draymond Green had 19 points and led his team in assists. Andrew Wiggins contributed 17 points in 7 out of 12 tries. The newest addition, Donte DiVincenzo, had 14 points off the bench.

On the Timberwolves’ side, Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony-Towns had a massive performance, scoring 26 and 21, respectively. D’Angelo Russell and Jaylen Nowell contributed 15 and 16 points in the losing effort, occupying the 12th spot in the Western Conference with 10-10.

Curry outperformed his team, having 13 by the end of the first quarter. He had made a couple of threes and was on the free-throw line thrice.

The Warriors led by as much as 28 points during the first half. But the Timberwolves trimmed it down to 20, 76-56, by the end of the second quarter. Before going into the game’s final minutes, Curry’s team reached the 100-point mark while their opponent scored only 89.

Edwards and his team tried to make a comeback, scoring 110-118. However, Curry swished his fourth 3-pointer in the final five minutes. Thompson then had two 3-pointers to keep the Timberwolves at bay.

The double-double of Stephen Curry this season is now five.

Curry Gets a T

Curry got a technical in the match’s final seconds, supposedly for taunting the referees. It all came down after Green celebrated Poole’s shot, becoming his 7th technical foul this season.

To protest the absurd call, Steph taunted the refs by celebrating a DiVincenzo three with 27.6 remaining in the fourth quarter. It was his third technical for the 2022-23 season.

The Warriors faced off the Dallas Mavericks last November 29, losing the match. They will face the Chicago Bulls next on December 2.
